THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE:
As a member of the Merchandise Financial Planning and Analysis team, the Senior Financial Analyst will serve as a key business partner to our Merchandising leadership team in supporting Ulta Beauty’s private label brands. This position will play a critical role in the financial planning efforts involved in continuing to optimally grow Ulta’s Private Label Business.
YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY:
- Working closely with functional business partners in Merchandising, Planning & Inventory, and Accounting
- Leading budget and forecast processes for Private Label brand profitability collaborating with various partners including Directors and VPs
- Supporting strategic decisions and investments end to end, through detailed financial analyses
- Driving analytics and communication to internal stakeholders and business leaders to identify trends and forecast variance drivers as well as relevant risks, opportunities, and recommendations
- Preparing weekly, period and quarterly reporting and executive presentations that summarize financial results
- Query existing systems to extract data for reporting and analytics
- Performing ad-hoc analysis and reporting as required
ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS:
- Undergraduate degree (Accounting/Finance), 4 yrs. relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
- Excel and PowerPoint experience required, SAP experience is required
- Proficiency and ability to compile data, develop canned reports and create and analyze spreadsheets
- Organized and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Experience in creating new processes and implementing across cross-functional partners
- Maintains high level of accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter and intellectually curious
- Prior budgeting and forecasting experience required
- Experience in Finance in the retail industry is a plus

The pay range for this position is $77,600.00 - $110,000.00 / Year with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company’s bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs. Full-time positions are eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life and disability benefits. Part-time positions are eligible for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
