The Sr Program Manager, International will directly support the Head of International, driving all critical milestones associated with Ulta Beauty’s international expansion plans. This person will be responsible for coordinating and managing the execution and cross-functional collaboration across internal and external teams, including senior leadership. They will be responsible for ensuring all milestones are achieved on a timely manner and in line with budget.

 

The Sr Program Manager, International must demonstrate a critical blend of strategic cross-functional management and a strong track record of successful execution of complex enterprise initiatives in a retail environment. The ability to influence, advise, and lead many cross-functional players across levels is critical.

 

 

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:  

·       Manage the execution of Ulta Beauty’s international expansion plans, serving as a key executional partner to internal and external teams, as applicable, across all levels of the organization.

·       Lead and facilitate cross-functional teams in defining and tracking project goals, deliverables, milestones, resources, budget, and schedule.

·       Support prioritization of workstreams and track progress against objectives

·       Anticipate the impact of critical issues, partner to develop mitigation plans, and escalate as needed.

·       Support development of project management capability at Ulta Beauty, including contributing and demonstrating best practice approaches, project governance frameworks and processes and toolkits which will be applied throughout the organization.

·       After market launch, analyze customer, sales, and margin data, tracking over time as directed, revealing trends and opportunities and communicating any learnings to the Head of International.

THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS:

 

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
• 7 years of experience in project management, project planning and/or post-merger integration, preferably in a strategy consulting company or equivalent position in beauty and/or a retail environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and program management tools.
• Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) preferred.

• Demonstrated knowledge of program management and strategic capabilities.

• Financial acumen to shape and drive program performance management.
• Highly collaborative with track record of effective cross-functional leadership and proven ability to influence at all levels.

• Office location: Bolingbrook, Illinois
• Some travel may be required (<10% of the time), including international and overnight stays
• Ability to work weekends and evenings as needed

 

The pay range for this position is $117,000.00 - $153,000.00 / Year with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company’s bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs. Full-time positions are eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life and disability benefits. Part-time positions are eligible for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
