THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE:
The IT Manager Product Development - MarTech will lead the delivery of Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) capabilities—Real-Time CDP, Journey Orchestration, Customer Journey Analytics, and Target—driving personalization at scale for Ulta Beauty. Partnering closely with product owners, IT, and business stakeholders, this role oversees product development lifecycles, sprints, and integrations within a Scaled Agile (SAFe) framework. The ideal candidate combines program delivery expertise with technical product management, ensuring features are delivered with speed, quality, and measurable impact.
YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY:
Technical Expertise: Shape the vision of MarTech products and platforms, providing solution architecture and technical ownership across Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) capabilities.
Vision & Strategy: Build technical roadmaps from product roadmaps in collaboration with engineering leads, product owners, and stakeholders across channels.
Cultural Champion: Drive adoption of Agile and Scaled Agile (SAFe) practices, mentoring teams and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous value delivery.
Business & Stakeholder Relationship Management: Champion continuous improvement by aligning with stakeholder objectives, incorporating customer feedback, and proposing solutions that enhance product outcomes.
Innovation Leadership: Identify and enable emerging MarTech capabilities to advance personalization, data-driven marketing, and customer experience.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Exercise independent judgment and take the lead role on product development, including continuous improvement
Perform technical analysis and contribute to solution architecture
Help implement automated testing and agile quality assurance practices
Ensure the successful delivery of product features at each iteration, including product demos
Implement solutions in cloud environments leveraging Adobe (AEP, RTCDP, AJO, Target & CJA), Google Cloud, AWS, and Azure
Design new solutions and system architecture across a diverse technology stack leveraging SaaS platforms
Translate graphic designs into production ready products
Work with enterprise architecture to provide platform expertise and the adoption of enterprise platforms
Partner with Product Owners to groom stories into technical requirements and functional needs
Enhance product by identifying new software/service opportunities
Define overall end-to-end and delivery system specifications and requirements
ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or equivalent professional experience
5+ years’ experience managing technology teams in a complex environment
7+ years experience in product development or related technical field
Proven track record of leading large-scale, multi-million-dollar MarTech programs in global organizations.
Deep knowledge of AEP components (RT-CDP, AJO, CJA, Target, Identity Service, and integrations).
Experience with Adobe Firefly and Digital Asset Management (Adobe Assets/Assets Essentials) is a plus.
Experience driving technical and analytical teams
Proven experience with agile (continuous delivery) and iterative methodologies
Solid experience with hybrid & cloud environments
Proven experience in eliciting requirements and enterprise automation
Solid experience writing product development requirements and architecture
Demonstrated experience in generating process modeling
Understand life cycles across digital products and pilots
Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges
Excellent analysis/troubleshooting skills, able to solve problems efficiently
Excellent communication skills; feels comfortable working with non-technical business partners
Able to motivate others to drive desired results
Strong experience in establishing business processes
Demonstrated ability to present recommendations to senior leaders for effective decision making
Work with consultants in an onshore / offshore model
Proven track record of delivering high quality solutions on time and on schedule
Flexibility of providing support during odd hours, weekends, and peak seasons
Minimal travel required (training/conferences)

The pay range for this position is $119,300.00 - $175,000.00 / Year with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company’s bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs. Full-time positions are eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life and disability benefits. Part-time positions are eligible for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
