THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE:

As a CMMS Technician of Engineering & Facilities, you will help drive greater levels of Distribution Center efficiencies and productivity through asset management, work planning and spare part inventory. This will include maintaining parts/asset data accuracy and equipment hierarchy in our maintenance software, to include rolling out standard workflows for work requests, the preventive maintenance program, project requests, inspection, etc.

You will accomplish these goals by:

• Performing spare parts inventory management and auditing on a regular basis, publishing weekly spare part cycle count results to the maintenance management team
• Providing software trainings to end users and new maintenance software users
• Serving as liaison for problem solving and escalation
• Coaching/educating staff on the maintenance software functions and best practices for performing tasks
• Working with the corporate Business Analyst to roll out standard object coding scheme, Preventive Maintenance (PM) procedures and scheduling and reports
• Managing work orders in the system, ensure proper creation, planning, updating and closure of work orders
• Performing regular data analysis on parts/assets and recommending software enhancements/process changes
• Measuring and publishing facilities KPI metrics to the management team, interpreting data and making recommendations based on findings

THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS:

Qualified candidates will possess a high school diploma or GED or an equivalent combination of education and related experience, with a demonstrated background with equipment safety procedures and strong communications skills to interact effectively with all levels within the organization. Additional requirements include:

• The ability to work well both individually and as part a team
• Solid math skills, to include adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
• A basic ability to understand written/oral instructions in English
• The abilities to follow instructions quickly and accurately and work overtime, as needed
• A flexibility in daily task assignments
• Experience (or professional training) in Business Administration, Information System, Engineering or related fields is preferred, but not required
• Experience working with enterprise software and an understanding of standard work process is ideal
• Solid computer skills (MS Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint; MS Projects) and project management experience (planning, scheduling, auditing) are preferred, but not required
• The ability to lift up to 35 pounds consistently
• The ability to lift, bend, stand and walk 8 hours a day
• The ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
