THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE:
The Business Process Owner role will cross-functionally work to document existing business processes, identify gaps, areas for automation, improvement or consolidation, and collaborate with the training team for training creation on vetted processes. This individual will be responsible for owning, creating, updating and maintaining all prioritized procedures/process documentation including process step references, best practices, quick reference guides, and flow charts for Merchandising and Merch Planning & Inventory (MP&I) processes. This includes supporting and/or creating project plans and timelines, setting up and executing onsite process investigation, and providing status reporting; collaborating with multiple project leads/managers to provide consolidated reporting and performance metrics; preparing and providing change management documentation.
YOU'L ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY:
- Partners Merchandising as well as cross functionally to identify process gaps within the specific area of responsibility and influence process improvement initiatives.
- Act as an agent of change, owning and promoting continuous improvement initiatives Collaborates and socialize impact as a result of interconnected processes and workflows.
- Serves as a subject matter expert by generating validated cost reduction initiatives and process improvements.
- Drives business transformation, streamlines operations, and builds new solutions to simplify business processes Documenting new & existing processes and business rules as they are conceived, determined, and prioritized.
- Enables effective and efficient convergence to solutions through problem solving techniques and facilitation of project teams
- Identify a pipeline of efficiency opportunities and validate business process requirements with Merchandising SMEs and leadership as well as cross functional partners, focusing on high priority areas being those with the largest impact to the bottom line.
- Support Merchandising and MP&I performance by identifying ownership, risks, process improvements, value realization, opportunities for consolidation or automation.
THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2-5 years relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of work and education experience, Experience related to process improvement and/or lean six sigma methodologies is a plus
- Proven advanced level organizational skills with the analytical ability to problem-solve, multi-task, and prioritize effectively
- Strong working knowledge or prior experience in retail merchandising and/or planning & inventory
- Confidence in effectively leading meetings and having tough conversations in order to drive decisions and achieve determined outcomes
- Critical thinking and creative resolution are a must for this role
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills to communicate with associates
- Understands operational financial measures and how they are generated
- Advanced analytical mindset and presentation skills
- Ability to motivate others to take action dictated by data
- Self-starter and growth mindset approach to skills development
- Expert level verbal and written communication skills
The pay range for this position is $77,600.00 - $102,000.00 / Year with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company’s bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs.
