THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE:
The Accounts Payable Analyst will report to the Sr. Manager of Accounts Payable, working closely with management and the Sr. AP Analyst to support the department’s function. The analyst will have a strong understanding of the company’s internal controls, accounts payable systems, and transaction flows. Their expertise will expand across expense invoicing, merchant POs, non-merchant POs, and payment processing. Additionally, this role will support process changes and system implementations that impact the accounts payable department.
YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY:
- Research and solve complex payable issues as they relate to vendor agreements, policy compliance, and internal systems.
- Work closely with other areas of the organization, prominently IT, Payroll, Tax, General Accounting, Supplier Operations, Merchants, Accounts Receivable, and Vendor Maintenance, to respond to inquiries and solve issues based on subject matter knowledge and expertise. Support the invoice discrepancy process as it relates to AP’s responsibilities and actively complete tickets for assigned vendors.
- Schedule, review, and execute all payments related to vendors whom the company holds a lease agreement.
- Complete all related check run logs used by the business.
- Prepare and share various AP reports with appropriate business users.
- Work with 3rd party partners to resolve issues and implement new processes as needed.
- Act an integral part of all new IT/Business projects that affect Accounts Payable. Perform user acceptance testing and review testing performed by QA.
- Work closely with AP managers to ensure all internal control policies and procedures are met.
- Create and maintain vendor’s shipping and handling conditions per the terms agreed upon for the claims process.
- Provide support to AP Coordinators and AP Clerks for escalated questions about regular tasks.
- Assist with 3rd party and internal audit requests by providing supporting documentation or answering additional questions as needed.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Various other routine and non-routine functions as assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION:
- Undergraduate degree (related field) with 3-5 years’ experience in Accounts Payable and/or other areas of accounting.
- Advanced analytical skills coupled with the ability to interpret and communicate findings to all areas of the business.
- High degree of efficiency with strong Excel skills and ample amount of experience in SAP.
- Works independently with little to no supervision necessary, while meeting given deadlines.
- Displays professionalism and leadership qualities when dealing with others.
This role is based in Bolingbrook, IL and requires six days per month in office.

The pay range for this position is $57,300.00 - $75,800.00 / Year with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company’s bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs. Full-time positions are eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life and disability benefits. Part-time positions are eligible for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
