The ideal candidate for this position will become thoroughly knowledgeable with all products and services offered by the Ulster Financial Group. They will work directly with customers to sell and service mutual funds, annuities, fee based, stocks, bonds, and life insurance, while keeping the Financial Services Officer aware of any customer problems and potential situations that may arise. Finally, the analytical skills of said candidate will assist them regarding receiving information regarding the customer’s income, assets, investments or debts, which determine financial products that best meet the customer’s needs and financial circumstances. This is a HYBRID REMOTE position which provides great flexibility for the right candidate.

Essential Requirements

• Series 6*, 7, 63*,65* & Life Insurance License*.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer knowledge.
• Strong interpersonal skills and good organizational skills.
• Ability to travel and work independently.
• Ability to analyze data and exercise discretion and judgment in making decisions which affect the Bank and its subsidiaries.
• Ability to promote the Bank's financial products and services and advise as to the appropriate financial product(s) to correspond to their financial needs.
• Minimum of (2) years of experience.
• Cetera background check required*.
• Bi-lingual a plus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze information regarding the customer's income, assets, investments, or debts; determining with the customer which financial products best meet the customer's needs and financial circumstances.
• Market, service or promote the Bank and its subsidiaries financial products and services.
• Generate a minimum of $250,000 in annual gross commissions.
• Develop a good working relationship with branch managers and branch staff.
• Conduct product and referral training Branch HOOPLA Meetings.
• Display a professional approach when dealing with customers.
• Develop and service your book of business and schedule a minimum of 20 new appointments per week while continually creating new and assigned lead streams both within and outside of the institution.
• Keep the Financial Services Officer aware of any customer problems and potential situations.
• Identify potential opportunities and cross sell all bank products and/or services to new and existing clients. Continually prospect to create new lead streams both within and outside of the institution. Drives financial performance through profitable revenue growth, goal attainment and exceptional customer service. The monthly cross selling goal is to attain at least one referral per month.

Marginal Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct educational seminars.
• Any other duties as assigned by management.
