JOB DESCRIPTION:
The ideal candidate will prepare efficient and detailed vertical and horizontal formwork application drawings for complex construction projects, utilizing standard company products and providing cost-effective solutions.
DUTIES & REPONSABILTIES:
- Responsible for providing detailed concrete formwork drawings for highway, civil, commercial, industrial, residential, and infrastructure projects according to customer requirements.
- Monitoring progress of projects against schedules to ensue deadlines are met.
- Responsible for preparing accurate material lists.
- Consulting directly with sales personnel and customers to ensure adequate communication and information is conveyed.
- Develop detailed design drawing and specifications for mechanical equipment, dies, tools, and controls, using computer-assisted drafting (CAD) equipment.
- Layout and draw schematic, orthographic, or angle views to depict functional relationships of components, assemblies, systems, and machines.
- Coordinate with and consult other coworkers to design, layout, or detail components and systems and resolve design or other problems.
- Attend and modify drawings according to remarks of Professional Engineer (PE) or Technical manager, when needed.
- Review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data to assess factors affecting component designs and the procedures and instructions to be followed.
- Modify and revise designs to correct operating deficiencies or to reduce production problems.
- Compute mathematical formulas to develop and design details specifications for components or machinery using computer-assisted equipment.
- Position instructions and comments onto drawings.
- Work with sales to produce AutoCAD drawings during the proposal stage and finalize working drawings for site use, utilizing ULMA forming system: Provide material lists for quotations and shipments to the site: Produce and ensure that the drawings indicate the proper use of ULMA forming equipment and the drawings represent safe, economical and efficient designs: Ensure that the work is designed with available inventory.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 years related experience.
- Associates or Bachelor's Degree (Civil Engineering technology, preferred)
- Architectural Drafting Design certificate required
- CAD Technology certification required
- Revit Architecture Software (optional)
- Solid Works (optional)
- SAP (optional)
- AutoCAD Civil 3D (optional)
