Linux Systems Administrator / PHP Developer (Mid-Level, LAMP Stack)

We are seeking a dependable Linux Systems Administrator with strong command-line experience to help support and maintain our production server environment. This role focuses primarily on Linux system administration, safe deployments, log monitoring, and operational support in a PCI-DSS compliant environment.Because our infrastructure workload does not fully occupy a systems-only position, this role will also contribute to backend development projects using PHP/MySQL within our LAMP stack (Laravel experience is a plus).All office workstations run Windows, so occasional internal Windows troubleshooting may also be part of the role.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys both infrastructure and backend development and wants to grow their skills in a stable, security-conscious environment.Primary ResponsibilitiesAssist in managing and maintaining Linux servers via CLISupport production deployments and releasesMonitor application and system logs for errors or anomaliesHelp troubleshoot system, database, and application issuesWrite and maintain Bash scripts as neededContribute to PHP/MySQL development projectsWork within Git-based workflowsProvide occasional Windows workstation support in the officeRequired QualificationsHands-on experience working with Linux via the command lineExperience supporting production or staging environmentsWorking knowledge of MySQL/MariaDBExperience using Git for version controlStrong attention to detail and a cautious approach to live systemsPreferred QualificationsPHP development experienceFamiliarity with the LAMP stackExperience with LaravelExposure to compliance or security-focused environments (PCI-DSS a plus)Basic Windows troubleshooting experienceWhat We ValueCareful, methodical problem-solvingClear communicationWillingness to ask questions rather than make risky assumptionsInterest in growing both systems and development skills Compensation based on experience.No remote work.

Salary : $114,000 - $190,000
