Our textiles laboratory in Bentonville, AR, is looking for a Laboratory Assistant, to join our 2nd Shift cutting team!

We work with some of the largest retailers in the world, performing market surveillance, auditing and inspecting the products we put in and on our bodies. Our textiles laboratory in Bentonville, AR, is looking for a Laboratory Assistant, to join our 2nd Shift cutting team!
Responsibilities
- Performs tests using general laboratory equipment.
- Performs routine care of designated test equipment and work area.
- Operates computer terminal to extract/input readily available information and to use available software.
- As directed follows defined test plans and datasheets.
- Evaluates test performance and sample operation to properly evaluate test results.
- Examines test samples, reads measuring instruments and reviews test data with supervisor.
- Reads and interprets operational instructions.
- As instructed examines customer samples and learns to operate basic tests for each case.
- Operates designated laboratory equipment and tools as directed.
- Receives instructions from and reports data to engineers and other laboratory technician staff.
- Records observed or calculated data on appropriate data sheets.
- Develops working knowledge of the job, methods, instrumentation and systems.
- Integrates continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of the job.
- Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.
- Performs other duties as directed.
- Ability to work on-site, in Bentonville, from 2:00pm-10:30pm, Monday-Friday.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
- Effective communication skills.
- Desire to work in a team-oriented environment.
