Electrical/Mechanical Technician

Job Description

This exciting opportunity is a fully onsite role at our modern and well-equipped facility in Research Triangle Park (RTP), NC, with a schedule of Monday through Friday. This hands-on position is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, passionate about electrical systems, and eager to contribute to innovative and high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Technician role focused on electromechanical testing, primarily electrical with some mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate test equipment for client projects.
• Build or adapt test setups based on engineering instructions and data sheets.
• Examine samples and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Follow defined test plans and record accurate data.
• Operate designated machines and perform routine maintenance; assist with basic calibration.
• Evaluate test performance and prepare clear reports.
• Communicate with customers during setup and testing to ensure proper evaluation.
• Suggest improvements for equipment, processes, and testing methods.
• Work independently within defined responsibilities and apply continuous improvement practices.
  
  

Qualifications

• Higher Secondary Education plus three years related experience preferred
• Effective communication skills and ability to interact with customers
• Proven ability to be innovative and creative
• Theoretical knowledge in Electronics
• Desire to work in a team-oriented environment. Ability to use Microsoft Office suite is a must. Ability to incorporate automation into day-to-day testing.
  
  

Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. The estimated salary range for this position is $40,000 and $56,000 and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 5% of the base salary. This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).
