This hands-on position is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, passionate about electrical systems, and eager to contribute to innovative and high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Technician role focused on electromechanical testing, primarily electrical with some mechanical aptitude.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate test equipment for client projects.
- Build or adapt test setups based on engineering instructions and data sheets.
- Examine samples and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Follow defined test plans and record accurate data.
- Operate designated machines and perform routine maintenance; assist with basic calibration.
- Evaluate test performance and prepare clear reports.
- Communicate with customers during setup and testing to ensure proper evaluation.
- Suggest improvements for equipment, processes, and testing methods.
- Work independently within defined responsibilities and apply continuous improvement practices.
- Higher Secondary Education plus three years related experience preferred
- Effective communication skills and ability to interact with customers
- Proven ability to be innovative and creative
- Theoretical knowledge in Electronics
- Desire to work in a team-oriented environment. Ability to use Microsoft Office suite is a must. Ability to incorporate automation into day-to-day testing.
