We have an exciting opportunity for a Research Associate at UL Research Institutes. The Research Associate will contribute to research projects under the guidance of IREE leadership. Responsibilities include literature reviews, data collection and analysis, experimental design, and collaborative efforts within the research team. The Research Associate will be responsible for supporting IREE’s sponsored research program and study related to youth and climate change education.
This is a remote position that will require travel and virtual collaboration with team members in multiple time zones.

What You’ll Learn And Achieve
As the Research Associate, you will play a key role in the rapid growth of UL as you:
- Support portfolio of research projects including study of internship experiences for emerging STEM professionals, climate change education, digital safety and educators, research and practice integration, and the ULRI sponsored research program.
- Conduct literature reviews to inform research projects.
- Assist in designing and implementing experiments or studies.
- Collect and analyze data using appropriate methods and tools.
- Collaborate with research program leadership and stakeholders on ongoing projects.
- Prepare and present research findings at conferences or in academic settings.
- Contribute to the development of research papers, proposals and grant applications.
- Support the development of IREE research programming for the annual ULRI Research Symposium.
- Support for IREE interns and fellows working on Research & Evaluation projects.
- Perform other duties as directed.
