Responsibilities
The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for performing all Respiratory Care procedures in the general and/or critical care settings.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
- RRT Licensure by the Kansas Board of Healing Arts.
- Associate Degree Graduate of an Accredited Respiratory Care program.
- One-year Clinical Experience.
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
- Certified in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
- Critical Care experience in a hospital setting is a plus.
- Positive, caring and customer-service-oriented attitude.
