Responsibilities
- Responsible for handling all referrals and precertifications with insurance companies in order to facilitate accurate scheduling of appointments with referrals sources in the community.
- Ability to alphabetize,attention to details, interact effectively with different types of people able to handle stressful situations.
- Mails, phones and faxes information as needed in a timely manner to verify that all necessary information is available to referral sources the day of the patient's appointment.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- One year prior medical office or hospital experience.
- Data entry experience desirable.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs i.e. WORD, Excel, Outlook
- Broad knowledge of general office equipment, including 10 key.
