Role Summary
UK Soccer School is seeking energetic, reliable, and passionate Youth Soccer Coaches to deliver high-quality after-school enrichment programs across local schools. This role focuses on creating a fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment where children can build confidence, improve their soccer skills, and develop teamwork and social-emotional skills.
Success in this position looks like consistently delivering engaging sessions, maintaining strong relationships with school staff and parents, and ensuring every child leaves sessions feeling positive and excited to return. This role is a key part of our organization, directly impacting program quality, retention, and our reputation with schools and districts.
- Deliver structured, engaging soccer sessions for children ages 4–12 in line with UK Soccer School curriculum
- Create a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for all participants
- Manage groups of up to 20 students while maintaining high energy and organization
- Adapt sessions to suit different ages, abilities, and learning styles
- Set up and pack down equipment efficiently before and after sessions
- Communicate professionally with school staff, parents, and UK Soccer School management
- Track attendance and report any incidents or concerns promptly
- Represent UK Soccer School with professionalism, punctuality, and enthusiasm
- Encourage teamwork, confidence, and sportsmanship through all activities
- Previous experience working with children (coaching, teaching, camp counseling, or similar) preferred
- Basic soccer knowledge required; coaching experience is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Ability to manage groups in an active outdoor environment
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Background check clearance required
