Job Summary
This position will provide the necessary skills, guidance and education to patients/families and staff to ensure efficient, safe, cost-effective, high-quality care for patients in perioperative services.
The CNS provides expert comprehensive nursing care directly to patients, supports and develops RNs at the point of care and serves as a leader in redesigning systems to improve access, quality, and safety in a cost-effective manner. The CNS improves patient care by putting the best evidence and innovations into practice while solving challenging patient care issues and monitoring patient outcomes for clinical effectiveness
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No Preferred Education/Experience
Candidate must have at minimum Master’s Degree in Nursing PLUS minimum of 5 years experience as nurse. Perioperative nursing experience preferred.
