Summary:
In addition to many other duties, evaluates, articulates, and enters incoming transfer credits into the degree audit system.
Duties & Responsibilities:
In consultation with academic programs regarding articulation decisions, builds transfer articulation rules in the degree audit system and updates and modifies the master reference table.
Performs complex encoding tasks in the degree audit system. Interprets code, verifies and maintains degree program information, and updates university requirements in the degree audit system, with a special emphasis on international records.
Trains and works with the data input staff entering incoming course work found on official university/college transcripts, with a special emphasis on international records.
Evaluates petitions and develops exceptions to allow changes to the degree audit system, with a special emphasis on international records.
Assist with maintenance of document imaging (including the scanning, verifying, and retention of short-term and permanent student documents).
Provides technical assistance to faculty, staff, and student users of the degree audit system. Also, provides assistance with encoding catalog requirements into the degree audit system.
Reviews daily and weekly transfer credit change reports and researches any variances for accuracy. Makes corrections to student’s records as needed.
Assists in the resolution of degree audit system problems and issues, and in the preparation and delivery of system training for the campus community, with a special emphasis on international records.
Perform other duties as assigned.
