Position: Temporary SPED Resource Room and Life Skills Teacher

Remainder of the 2026-2027 School Year

Location: Uinta County School District #1, Evanston, Wyoming

Clark Elementary

Salary: $61,400 – $108,650 (Placement commensurate with experience and training)

Qualifications

• Applicant must hold or be eligible for a Wyoming Teaching Certificate and SPED K-12 Generalist Certificate. Should have experience and knowledge of Reading, Language Arts and/or Math.
• Life skills and/or severe profound training/certification is a plus.
• Applicant must demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Applicant must be familiar with curriculum, teaching techniques and the general procedures associated with special education.
• Applicant must have the ability to be a contributing member of a team working for the benefit of each individual student.
• Applicant must be willing and able to work in inclusionary settings in addition to teaching in pullout programs.
• The applicant must be able to supervise multiple paraprofessionals.
• The applicant must be able to educate students with cognitive disabilities.
• The applicant must be able to manage the student's personal hygiene and medical needs.
