Senior Procurement Clerk (TPSS):
Bowhead is seeking a Senior Procurement Clerk for the upcoming Technical Project Support Services (TPSS) contract in Patuxent, MD. TPSS supports the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Webster Outlying Field (WOLF) in delivering mission-critical systems and services. The effort provides a wide range of technical, project management, engineering, logistics, training, and administrative support for air, ship, shore, expeditionary, and surveillance systems that directly support warfighter operations.
The Senior Procurement Clerk collaborates with IDS Division project personnel and the Acquisition Lead to perform material acquisition support tasking.

The Senior Procurement Clerk collaborates with IDS Division project personnel and the Acquisition Lead to perform material acquisition support tasking.
- Prepares documentation for procurements (large and small purchases).
- Ensures compliance with guidelines and processes.
- Maintains and tracks procurements while ensuring that accurate records are kept.
- Utilizes N-ERP to generate purchase requisitions regarding material or hardware services procurements. Supports data calls as needed.
- Directs, oversees, and trains junior staff in applying analytical techniques and methodologies.
- At least ten (10) years of experience and a master’s degree or bachelor’s degree plus four (4) additional years of experience may be substituted for a Master’s; of the minimum required 10 years of experience, at least 3 years of experience must be in a business functional area with the U.S. Navy or other DoD program.
- Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
- Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team
- Must be able to lift up to 15 to 25 pounds
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
- Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
