Position Summary
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Illinois Chicago is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Urogynecologist to join our Division of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery's faculty at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor (commensurate with experience). The successful candidate will provide comprehensive clinical care for women with pelvic floor disorders, engage in teaching and mentoring of medical students, residents, and fellows, and contribute to ongoing research and scholarly activity within the department. Tenure-track faculty with an interest in launching independent research careers are encouraged to apply for the UIC BIRCWH Program, an NIH-funded program that provides salary and research support and intensive mentoring focused on women's health and sex as a biological variable (SABV).
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide outpatient and inpatient clinical care for patients with complex pelvic floor disorders.
Perform surgical and nonsurgical management of female pelvic floor conditions.
Collaborate in multidisciplinary care teams and with other specialties.
Participate in the education, training, and supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows.
Participate in departmental and university committees as nominated by the Department Head.
Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
