Position Summary
The Department of Surgery at the University of Illinois Chicago is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Associate to join a rapidly expanding, internationally recognized program in advanced robotic surgery. This fellowship will focus on tele-robotic surgery and augmented reality–enhanced robotic imaging.
Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct and support research in tele-robotic surgical systems and augmented reality–guided robotic imaging.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including surgeons, engineers, and technology developers.
Design, execute, and analyze research studies related to robotic surgical technologies.
Contribute to peer-reviewed publications, grant development, and scientific presentations.
Participate in the advancement of innovative technologies for remote surgical care in austere environments. Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
