Position Summary
The postdoctoral scholar will work with the Principal Investigator, Dr. Reshma Shah, and Co-Investigators, two NIH-funded projects: 1) Preschool and Me a hybrid implementation-effectiveness randomized controlled waitlist trial of a medical-educational linkage model and 2) Pathways for Preschoolers a longitudinal cohort study examining contextual factors impacting access to educational and clinical therapies for preschool-age children with developmental delays and disabilities. This role will analyze school and clinic-based data as well as evaluate policy implementation at the local, state and national level. It is also an ideal position for someone who is interested in increasing their publication record and continue their trajectory towards an independent research career.
Duties & Responsibilities
Work with Principal Investigator and Co-Investigator to design and carry out experiments or research projects to address specific scientific questions or objectives.
Collaborate with graduate students, research assistants, or other lab members, providing guidance and mentorship when needed.
Participate in research team meetings to discuss progress, results, and next steps
Support manuscript development and research related tasks for the project.
Analyze school and clinic-based data as well as evaluate policy implementation at the local, state and national level.
Apply advanced research techniques and methodologies specific to the two projects.
Collect, organize, and maintain detailed records of experimental data. Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
