Position Summary
The Extra Help Publicity Promotion Associate is responsible for developing and implementing marketing and communication tactics that strengthen the Credit Union 1 Arena and UIC Dorin Forum brand and events, conducting marketing analysis, coordinating marketing events, managing the website, overseeing social media management, and creating digital and print materials.
Duties & Responsibilities
Work with Marketing Associate to assist in the marketing efforts for specific events. Specific duties include: managing, updating, and reviewing all Credit Union 1 Arena & UIC Dorin Forum social media accounts, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Ensuring that all information is timely and accurate.
Work with the Marketing Associate to coordinate social media posts announcing shows, promoting on-sale dates/times, pertinent event information, and, when allowed, event coverage of the event, including photographs and event recaps.
Create and implement outreach plans to UIC students to increase involvement
Maintain and update on a regular basis UIC Venues & Events websites.
Work on special projects as needed.
Other Duties as assigned.
Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
