Assistant Professor Educational Psychology

Position Summary
The Dept of Educational Psychology seeks to permanently fill a faculty vacancy at the rank of Assistant Professor, tenure track, in the area of Educational Psychology and Instructional Design - Education technology, utilizing emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, game-based learning and digital education. We expect the candidate to have a demonstrated record of or potential for seeking and obtaining extramural research funding. Teaching responsibilities will include department standard academic year courseloads. This particular faculty position oversees the department undergraduate minor in Instructional Design and training.

Duties & Responsibilities

Teaching, research, mentorship, service and other tenure track faculty responsibilities in dept of Educational Psychology

Teaching expectations include a minimum of 4 courses per academic year. Teaching courses includes mentoring, advising, supporting, reviewing, providing feedback, and grading students enrolled in assigned courses and graduate level programs. It includes monitoring the progress of students to meet course outcomes and deliverables. Developing and preparing course curricula. Delivering course content on set schedule. Providing instruction along a spectrum of formats including but not limited to classroom teaching, online courses, fieldwork, training workshops, conferences, and advising students as appropriate.

Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
