Overview
UIC Lands & Real Estate seeks a Shuttle Driver to operate a vehicle to transport passengers and assist in the cleanup of UIC lands.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
- Pickup and drop off passengers in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with students and Real Estate General Manager.
- Assist with coordination and cleanup of UIC facilities and lands.
- Record attendance and ensure timesheets are submitted weekly.
- Maintain company vehicle and ensure timely maintenance.
- Additional job duties as assigned.

- Excellent customer service skills.
- Effective judgment & decision making.
- Strong interpersonal skills, using tact, patience, and courtesy.
- Must be able to meet schedules and deadlines.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Qualifications
Minimum Experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Valid Alaska Driver's License and three (3) year clean driving record. Employee must follow all Authorized Driver Policy Procedures regarding approved vehicle usage.
- Class B CDL with passenger endorsement.
- Ability to pass a Non-DOT pre-employment drug screening, and must follow all Non-DOT Drug and Alcohol Testing program requirements.
Physical Demands:
- Lift/push/pull 70lbs to 120lbs.
