Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista/Bobarista to join our team in creating exceptional coffee and bubble tea experiences for our customers. The ideal candidate will have joy in working customer service, a love for coffee, boba, matcha and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate Clover POS systems for order processing and payment transactions.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and dining areas.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines during food handling and preparation.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours while maintaining quality standards.
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking supplies and reporting low inventory levels.
- Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and ensure accurate cash register operations.
Qualifications
- Previous barista or coffee experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Familiarity with food safety practices and food handling regulations.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math applications.
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience in the food industry or food service is a plus.
