Located in Shippensburg, PA., our 112-bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults as well as an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13-17. We also have two substance use disorder outpatient offices in Carlisle and Chambersburg. We are currently recruiting a part-time Discharge Summary Transcriptionist. This position has a flexible schedule and located in our HIM Medical Records Department.
Medical Records Discharge Summary Transcriptionist is responsible for:
- Reviewing patient records
- Completing a summary of the hospital stay upon discharge.

Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Master’s Degree from an accredited college in Psychology or other related field OR licensed nurse.
- Minimum of one year experience in a behavioral healthcare environment or equivalent experience required.
- Prior experience in transcription or medical discharge summary preferred.
