What are the responsibilities and job description for the TRANSCRIPTIONIST position at UHS?
Roxbury is currently recruiting a part-time Discharge Summary Transcriptionist. This position has a flexible schedule and located in our HIM Medical Records Department. The Medical Records Discharge Summary Transcriptionist is responsible for reviewing patient records and completing a summary of the hospital stay upon discharge.

Qualifications
Education and Experience
Master’s Degree from an accredited college in Psychology or other related field OR licensed nurse with a minimum of one year experience in a behavioral healthcare environment or equivalent experience required. Prior experience in transcription or medical discharge summary preferred.
