POSITION SUMMARY:

The Assistant Cook/Cook is responsible for the preparation and serving of breakfast, lunch and dinner meals for patients and facility staff according to the approved menu cycle and production sheets.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:

Prior kitchen experience helpful. Must be able to read and write the English language. Highschool diploma or GED required. 

SKILLS:

Knowledge of kitchen operations and procedures, skill in organizing/prioritizing workloads to meet deadlines and the ability to read menus/recipes.
