Qualifications
The Academic Teacher provides students with educational and behavioral programs that will enable them to reach their fullest educational potential, while rebuilding their self-esteem.
Education:
- Associates degree from an accredited university or college preferred.
Experience:
- Two (2) years teaching experience preferred.
Licensure:
- Valid State of Illinois elementary or secondary education substitute teaching certification
- Successful completion of CPR certification and the current patient aggression management training, including appropriate use of Seclusion and Restraint within 90 days of employment.
