Position Summary:
Level 1 with reprocessing of flexible endoscopes and loaner tray processing. Level 1 with record maintenance, prioritizing workflow, minor decision when afterhours/weekends. Possess knowledge in the area of surgical supplies and instrumentation, demonstrating the technical skills necessary to perform in the areas of decontamination, preparation, and sterile holding. Ability to assemble scheduled and emergency case carts. Some oversight of Level 1 techs.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Attend 75% of department staff meetings and is accountable for all others through the reading of meeting minutes.
- Attend all mandatory in-services.
- Documentation of 10 educational hours in addition to mandatory in-services.
- Current certification as a Sterile Processing Tech.
- Participates in taking call for department as assigned.

Qualifications
Requirements:
- Sterile Processing Tech (Cert) CRCST certification required.
- Previous surgical experience preferred.
- Typing and basic computer skills preferred.
