The Corporate Business Office is seeking a dynamic and talented Revenue Cycle Analyst. As a Revenue Cycle Analyst, you’ll be responsible for assessing current revenue cycle processes and workflows; identifying areas for efficiency and effectiveness enhancements, collaborating with teams (e.g., registration, billing, charging, coding, collections, and denials management) to streamline processes, reduce and recover denials, and optimize cash flow; and analyzing and monitoring revenue cycle metrics to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Revenue Cycle Analysts perform a broad range of Revenue Cycle support functions including system maintenance, data analysis, report creation, and process improvement activities with oversight from other team members and management. Revenue Cycle Analysts providing systems support are responsible for optimizing and automating revenue cycle workflows and processes, maintaining and supporting staff utilizing core Revenue Cycle systems, improving technology system functionality through design, testing, and implementation, and coordinating change impacting the Central Business Offices and facilities.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Performs system maintenance, including updates to user security, workflows, pools, tables, statements and letter templates, and more
• Attends and supports calls with vendors, UHS stakeholders, and IT as needed
• Assists in testing and maintenance related to system enhancements, upgrades, and new facility openings
• Coordinates support with IT and external vendors for more complex requests
• Performs all other duties as assigned/required

Experience & Knowledge:

A Revenue Cycle Analyst should have 3-5 years of experience and a relevant college degree in business, finance, healthcare administration, health information management, or similar. An Analyst should possess a basic knowledge of healthcare finance or revenue cycle operations, including an understanding of registration, charging, billing, collections, and denials management processes.

Significant Revenue Cycle experience (i.e., 5 years in addition to the minimum) might be accepted in lieu of certain college education requirements.

A qualified candidate should have strong professional written and verbal communication skills, proficiencies in Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Word, Excel, etc.), and the ability to meet deadlines and multitask.

Travel Requirements:

Up to 15% domestic travel dependent on business need
