The Atlantic Region CBO is seeking a dynamic and talented Research and Correspondence.

The Research and Correspondence Assistant is responsible for providing clerical support to the business office. This position must work effectively with other employees, patients, insurance companies and other outside parties.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Sorts and updates returned mail via Accurint
• Responsible for working Returned Mail worklist
• Root causes and attemptes to resolved Returned Mail issues
• Files as required by retention policies
• Responsible for working patient demographics forms, 0 remits, insurance denials, and correspondence using various computer systems
• Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements: 

High school diploma or equivalent

1-3 years healthcare experience preferred

Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Customer focused both internally and externally, strong attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, strong 10 key data entry, and excellent written and oral communication skills are required.

Familiarity with pre-registration and 1-3 years healthcare business office experience preferred.
