SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES:
- Answers and responds to incoming telephone calls. Routes calls to the correct department.
- Make announcements on paging system.
- Sorts and routes incoming postal mail and courier deliveries.
- Greets visitors and assists them.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS OF JOB:
Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp. Ability to express and exchange ideas via spoken word during activities in which they must convey detail or important spoken instructions to others accurately. Perform repetitive motions with wrists, hands and fingers.
Individual must be able to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and 10 pounds of force frequently to be able to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Work requires a minimum standard of visual acuity with or without correction that will enable people in the role to complete administrative and clerical tasks. While worker may possibly be subjected to temperature changes, the worker is generally not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions as the work is predominantly inside.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY:
High School Degree or equivalent. Typing, clerical experience, filing, work organization, prioritization, time management skills, sound judgment and decision-making skills, office procedure skills, communication skills, office equipment experience, and experience in psychiatric facility helpful.
