The phlebotomist is responsible collecting blood specimens through venipuncture and skin puncture. The positon requires extensive time sitting, writing, and talking on telephone; physical demands are moderate to low. Candidates must be able to assist in physical crisis intervention when necessary.

Qualifications

2. | Experience: | Minimum of 1 year of prior job related experience |
3. | License/Certification: | Certification as a Phlebotomist |
4. | Skills: | Demonstrates the ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Verification of absence of criminal record on local, state and federal levels. |
5. | Physical Requirements: | Medium demand, mentally. Requires extensive time sitting, writing, and talking on telephone. Ability to assist in crisis intervention, physical intervention with out of control patients. |
6. | Other: | Performs others duties as may be assigned by CNO/ ACNO/Manager/Supervisor or CEO. |
