We offer inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient options for individuals in the communities of the San Gabriel Valley, Los Angeles County, and surrounding areas.
The Patient Account Biller Representative is responsible for accurately submitting insurance claims to Medicare, following up on outstanding payments and ensuring compliance with Medicare billing regulations, all while maintaining accurate patient records. This position works closely with the Medi-Cal biller updating Bad-Debt and denial logs and fills in as a backup for admissions and wherever else needed as assigned by the Business Office Director.
Education: Any combination of education, training or experience in a hospital business office. Experience with Medicare billing systems DDE and Noridian.
Experience: A minimum of two (2) years experience in Medicare billing and CPT coding.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Prepare all Medicare accounts for billing and ensure account billing productivity standards are met.
- Transmit all billings to Medicare either manually or electronically as requested.
- Ensure account activity is current and accurately documented.
- Supervise all in-house accounts to ensure clear documentation is on file as required by Medicare guidelines.
