Outpatient RN - Per Diem (Roseville)

The Oaks outpatient programs incorporate a range of services to adolescents, adults and seniors, including; physician oversight, medication management, group therapy practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and clinical assistance tailored to help our clients achieve their treatment goals. Offering premiere behavioral health services for individuals experiencing psychiatric and /or substance abuse symptoms that negatively affect daily functioning.

Location: Roseville Oaks 

The Staff Nurse (R.N.) is a registered professional nurse who prescribes, coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices.

• Employ principles of communication, interviewing techniques, and problem solving and crisis intervention when performing psychotherapeutic interventions.
• Participate in the development of an interdisciplinary treatment plan with specific and measurable goals, objectives and interventions, defining actions unique to each patient's needs.
• Provide education to patients and families based on their identified needs and limitations, such as communication, interpersonal and social skills as well as basic principles of physical health.

Education: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Preferred Experience: A minimum of three (3) years experience in a psychiatric health-care facility.
Licensure: Current unrestricted licensed to practice by the California State Board of Nursing.
Additional Requirements: CPR certification and successful completion of Handle With Care (HWC) training within 30 days of employment and prior to assisting in a restraint procedure
