Position Summary
To assist the perioperative nursing/surgical teams in meeting the needs of all customers by performing a variety of tasks and/or services including maintaining facilities, providing support functions, and assisting with basic patient care functions while continuously performing in a professional manner.
Qualifications
Education/Qualification
- High School diploma or equivalency
- Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant Course, two years of nursing school, or other recent comparable education preferred
- Two years of experience as a Nursing Assistant in the operating room preferred.
Skills
- Able to speak and write English Fluently
- Demonstrated communication, organization and critical thinking skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Knowledge of surgical instruments preferred
