What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intake and Assessment Clinician Overnight (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) position at UHS?
- Conduct comprehensive assessments
- Evaluate patients for appropriate levels of care and admissions criteria.
- Coordinate and collaborate for all necessary information with physicians and other staff
- Serve children and adolescents, adults and seniors with innovative and evidence-based inpatient behavioral healthcare focused on individual needs and comfort.
- Create more than 200 new, full-time jobs including nurses, clinicians, therapists, technicians and administrative staff, when the facility is fully operational.
- Be located at the intersection of I-70 and Little Blue Parkway, adjacent to the Children’s Mercy Hospital Outpatient Clinics.
- Feature 120 licensed beds ready to meet the mental health needs of the surrounding community.
- Span more than 88,000 square feet, and will include an activity yard and gym.

Qualifications
- Current LCSW or LPC through the state of Missouri
- Experience in behavioral health, assessments, crisis intervention, and admissions preferred
- Experience in intake, triage, or emergency services strongly preferred
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Be able to work 11:00pm-7:30am on Tuesday-Saturday.
