Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Human Resources Director to lead our HR initiatives and foster a positive organizational culture. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in human resources management, demonstrating strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of employment law, talent acquisition, employee relations, and HR systems. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape HR strategies that support the hospital’s mission and growth objectives.

Duties

• Develop and implement strategic HR plans aligned with organizational goals, including talent management, succession planning, and organizational design.
• Oversee all aspects of employee relations, ensuring a positive work environment through effective conflict management and employee engagement initiatives.
• Manage recruitment processes from sourcing candidates to conducting interviews and onboarding new employees, ensuring compliance with employment laws and EEO standards.
• Lead performance management programs by setting clear evaluation criteria, facilitating employee evaluations, and supporting professional development efforts.
• Administer benefits programs such as payroll, workers' compensation, FMLA leave management, and benefits administration while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Supervise HR teams responsible for HRIS systems like Workday, ICIMS or similar platforms for data collection and analysis.
• Ensure adherence to OSHA standards and HR legal compliance requirements through ongoing policy updates and staff training.
• Drive process improvements within HR functions by utilizing analytics and data analysis skills to inform decision-making.
• Responds to insurance and unemployment compensation correspondence and employment verifications

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5-8 years of related work experience
• Experience in human resources management with supervisory responsibilities in healthcare or similar environments.
• Extensive knowledge of employment & labor law, HR legal compliance, and regulatory standards such as OSHA and EEO regulations.
• Demonstrated expertise in talent acquisition, training & development, employee orientation, and performance management strategies.
• Proficiency with HR systems such as Workday; familiarity with HRIS data analysis tools is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to problem solve and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion while managing multiple priorities efficiently.
• Strategic thinker with strong organizational skills capable of leading change management initiatives within complex healthcare setting.
