SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES: To ensure the maintenance of a clean, healthy, pleasant environment for patients, staff, and visitors

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Cleans floors, dusts, removes trash, and replaces toilet paper and paper towels in patient and non-patient areas.
• Removes and replaces soiled linens and towels from designated patient areas.
• When a patient discharges, clean patient’s mattress and make up bed.
• Remove hazardous waste off the units and box it for shipping.
• Maintains facility and furnishings in clean, orderly fashion.

Requirements:

Education:  High school diploma or GED required. 

Experience: Zero- one (0-1) year of experience required. Two (2) years of related experience preferred. Experience with psychiatric patient care techniques with understanding of mental illness, preferred.

Work Hours:  Day shift: Sunday- Wednesday 9:00am-7:30pm; May be asked to work overtime and flexible hours
