Position Description:

This individual cleans and keeps the hospital environment in an orderly condition.             

Duties:

• Cleans offices, patient rooms, offices, classrooms, common areas, lavatories, halls, food service areas and any other areas that may require attention.
• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, polishes floors and vacuums hallways, stairs and office space.
• Will be required to properly and safely use cleaning chemicals per given standards.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:          

• High School diploma or GED preferred.                                                                
• Previous housekeeping experience a plus, preferably in a healthcare environment.                       
• Must be able to use housekeeping equipment such as vacuum cleaner, buffers, battery operated equipment, mops and carpet equipment; Reading and Numerical competency;
• Customer service skills
