Position Summary:
Perform duties associated with the support of all aspects Health Information Management. Analyzes discharge charts and prepares them for scanning in the EMR. Does ROI’s when received in office. Assist public, staff and physicians with requests as needed.
Essential Job Duties:
- Audits discharge patient charts for completeness of documentation. Scanning chart into EMR (Cerner).
- Handles request by the public with respect and professionalism whether in person or on phone.
- Support audits and quality assurance reviews by providing organized and accessible medical documentation.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or GED and equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: Previous experience in information management and direct experience in a health care psychiatric facility preferred.
Licensure: No licensure necessary
