Behavioral Health Connections (BHC) in Houston, TX is seeking a dynamic and talented Clinical Team Lead. The Clinical Lead has the responsibility of providing assistance to the Clinical Director with clinical oversight of the Clinical Assessment Team Evaluators. Duties include support with review of clinical assessment/referral documentation, filing of involuntary commitment paperwork (where applicable), daily communication with referral sources regarding patient case status, assistance with interviews, new hire orientation and training of Clinical Assessment Team Evaluators in workflow processes and procedures. Excellent clinical, communication, and organizational skills are critical components of this job.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Help with team scheduling, payroll, daily reports, training and onboarding new hires.
• Supervision of MAT assessors, staffs patient cases and reviews assessment documentation to ensure appropriate levels of care; performs quality audits for reporting
• Daily communication with referral sources regarding patient case status
• Provides tele-therapy for clients as assigned.

EDUCATION

Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health or related field.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

Current State License as a Licensed Professional Counselor (“LPC”), Licensed Master Social Worker (“LMSW”), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (“LMFT”). 

Current CPR, Vaccines, if required by a customer hospital. (“Customer hospital” means the hospital to which BHC is contracted to provide mobile assessment services.)

Current Drivers License 

EXPERIENCE

Required 1-3 year similiar work experience Preferred 3-5 year work experience

Completion of appropriate internship, including the provision of individual, group or family therapy/counseling.

Mobile assessment experience preferred
