Mountain Youth Academy (a UHS company) is seeking a Case Manager to join our growing team!

Mountain Youth Academy is centrally located near Johnson City, TN, Boone, NC, and Abingdon, VA. We are a 90-bed residential treatment facility and assist in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of behavioral health issues for our young adolescent students.
Position Summary:
Responsible for ensuring the content of the clinical notes pertaining to patient care, treatment and service is in compliance with all licensing, DMAS/Third Party Payor and DCS regulations. Performs audits on charts concurrently to ensure that the medical records documentation meet the requirements of the regulatory agencies. Represents Mountain Youth Academy along with students in court. Collates and enters PI data.
Provides for DCS zoom visitations and court hearings. Acts as a liaison with therapist and DCS in meeting student’s needs.

Qualifications
Position Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree and significant knowledge of third party payor systems.
Must be a self-starter with the ability to communicate effectively with other health care professionals, both verbally and in writing.
Exceptional attention to detail needed.
Documentation Skills, Analyzing Information, Decision Making, Research Skills, Verbal Communication, Written Communication, People Skills, Resolving Conflict, People Management, Integrity, Connecting with Children and proficiency in Microsoft office. Able to develop professional relationships with DCS workers as well as court representatives. Able to recognize when a student is becoming upset during visitation or court.
