Conveniently located in northern Sacramento, Heritage Oaks is a fully accredited, 125-bed acute psychiatric hospital offering a full range of individually tailored treatment services to adolescents, adults, and senior adults, including treatment for substance abuse and chemical dependency issues with drugs and alcohol. The Admissions Representative is responsible for verifying benefits and eligibility on admission inquiries, preparing admission folders, collecting co-pays/deductibles from patients, assisting with establishing effective and timely payment plans, coordinating with utilization review and discharge planning efforts to limit risk of non-payment, providing ongoing patient benefit information, participating in patient discharge procedures, and coordinating financial arrangements with collection personnel.
- Upon receipt of an intake inquiry form, verifies eligibility and benefits for all admissions.
- Communicate benefits information and co-payments to patients and families prior to admission.
- Coordinate with other departments within the facility to assure appropriate usage of patient benefits

Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: Knowledge ofinterpretation of insurance coverage plans, co-payments and deductible schedules and payment plans. Experience in admission processes and collections procedures.
Additional Requirements: CPR certification
