Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role in Binghamton, NY, for a Patient Access Representative. The Patient Access Representative will perform a variety of administrative and front-line tasks, including patient registration, insurance verification, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate records in line with medical facility standards. The role will involve interacting with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance representatives to ensure a seamless patient admission process with a strong focus on accuracy and excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Patient Registration and Insurance Verification
- Strong understanding of Medical Terminology
- Typing skills with attention to accuracy and data entry ability
- Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, and an ability to interact compassionately with patients and team members
- Attention to detail and organizational skills necessary for maintaining accurate records
- Experience in healthcare or customer service roles is beneficial
