Responsibilities
Activity director
The Activity Director is responsible for conducting high quality patient care, completing an activity assessment to be used in treatment planning and treatment of each patient within 72 hours of admission. Plans therapeutic activities for patients admitted to the hospital. Documents therapeutic activities and supervises activity therapy assistant. Functions as a member of the multi disciplinary team and participates in the community education program.

- Adheres to established hospital and department guidelines & protocols. Supports hospital mission, vision, and values.
- Makes decisions under pressure
- Handles multiple priorities
- Provide supervision to staff
- Make treatment recommendations that are individualized to circumstances and needs of each patient in conjunction with interdisciplinary treatment team
- Directs and a key contributor to discharge planning of patients.

Qualifications
- Activity therapist certification preferred
- High school diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3-5 years experience
