The Corporate IS Department is seeking a dynamic and talented Associate Application Analyst - Technology Ventures.
The Associate Application Analyst - Technology Ventures supports the implementation and maintenance of UHS Technology Ventures applications in a multi‑entity environment. Works with Technology Ventures team members and business stakeholders to evaluate requirements, resolve support issues, and participate in application configuration under guidance. Coordinates assigned tasks to meet deadlines and ensures progress toward completion. Shares experience and collaborates with team members as appropriate. \
Key Responsibilities include:
System Maintenance/Support
Activities:
- Demonstrates understanding of hospital workflow
- Demonstrates analytical problem solving
- Assists in routine system maintenance and builds.
- Establishes and maintains regular communications with application teams and user community.
- Adheres to UHS Service Level and Change Management Policies.
- Researches and resolves Customer Support Center Tickets.
System Implementation
Activities:
- Supports implementation tasks and prepares basic documentation.
- Performs system testing and documentation under guidance.
- Researches and resolves implementation-related Customer Support Center Tickets.
- Adheres to appropriate UHS Project Management standards.
- Ensures strict adherence to work plans, reporting all serious deviations to management.
- Reports issues and deviations to management.
- Assists with the training of users in operating procedures for application.
Administration and Oversight
Activities:
- Maintains Service Excellence principles.
- Prepares and submits status reports to supervisor as required.
- Keeps management well informed of activities, needs, problems.
- Performs other tasks as assigned/required by management.
Qualifications:
Skills
- Proficient with word processing, spreadsheet, and email software applications.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills with customers and team members.
- Basic understanding of workflows and problem‑solving skills.
- A quick learner of software and information technology, and motivated to learn new applications and business operations.
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal communication and documentation skills, among facility customers and team members.
- Demonstrates customer-oriented service excellence principals, as outlined in UHS corporate standards.
- Basic knowledge of project management methods, business practices, and terminology.
- Self-disciplined, able to work independently, but also able to take direction when necessary.
- Self-motivated to identify and resolve issues, and in advancing personal knowledge.
- Very organized and detail oriented.
- Flexible with time.
License or Registration Requirements: Clinical experience (Registered Nurse) preferred
Training: N/A
Travel Requirements: 5 – 20% domestic US travel (depending on projects and Go Lives).
