Primary Department or Work Location: Operating Room, UHS Wilson Medical Center Primary Work Shift: Scheduled Weekly Hours: 0 Compensation Range: $40.70 - $61.05 per hour, depending on experience ----- About the Role: United Health Services, the largest and most comprehensive provider of healthcare services in upstate New York's Southern Tier, is hiring a Staff Registered Nurse, Operating Room to join our team at UHS Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City, NY. The Operating Room Nursing Team is a cohesive, skilled, supportive group. The OR nurses must be agile and adaptable to working with different teams of surgeons. This group gives nurses a lot of exposure to other units within the hospital! Work Environment Work is performed in an office environment and patient care areas which require working in proximity to other employees and patients. Rooms are air conditioned and heated. Frequent walking, standing, bending and lifting. Fast paced environment with frequent interruptions. Exposure to equipment cleaning solutions and disinfectants. PPE (Eyewear, Masks, Face shields, Shoe covers, and Gloves) as required by Infection Control policies Age of Patients Served All Age Groups HIPAA Roles-Based Access to Patient Information Level 3: Clinical - Access to non-restricted patient information Compensation: $40.70-$61.056 per hour, depending on experience.
