Position Overview Nurse Educators provide educational experiences that facilitate the promotion of competent nursing practice and quality patient care. They facilitate the orientation for new nursing employees and assist in their assimilation into a new role. Nurse Educators support nursing staff members in their efforts in knowledge and skill acquisition and professional development. Primary Department, Division, or Unit: UHS Nursing Education Work Shift and Schedule: This is a per diem position, which means you will work on an as needed, agreed upon basis. Working hours will be assigned by your manager. Compensation Range: per hour, depending on experience This position is not eligible for benefits. ----- Education/Experience Minimum Required: Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing or related field. Three (3) years Nursing Practice experience in a clinical setting.
